Welcome to the Harvey Parker Trust

Harvey Parker Trust's mission is to support young people who would benefit from emotional or mental health support, neurodiverse, gender-diverse, and talented under-represented young musicians

The Harvey Parker Trust

Harvey Parker was a gender fluid, autistic, talented musician who loved the dance floor as much as the concert hall. A regular at G-A-Y and Heaven, who performed on many of the UK's leading music stages, playing flute, oboe, piano and organ, Harvey also worked to champion marginalised creatives and queer rights.

Harvey's mental health took a terrible turn one night - and Harvey ended their life just before Christmas 2021.

The Harvey Parker Trust has been created to support the mental health wellbeing of others like Harvey: talented young creatives from under-represented communities in need of emotional or mental health support.

The Trust will raise funds to support wellbeing initiatives and help young creatives to develop the skills to better support their own wellbeing.

We help talented young creatives from under-represented communities in need of emotional or mental health support.

We do this by

Raising awareness of the mental health challenges facing young people in the creative and cultural industries.

Raising funds to support mental health wellbeing for young marginalised creatives

Supporting emotional resilience - building mental health support networks for young marginalised creatives.

What we support

We support organisations doing good work, provide training and signpost resources for young people to support each other.

We recognise in the early years of the Trust that we are better placed to add vital funds to work already in place and ensure that good work is able to reach further.

What we don't support

We will not be supporting individual applications to the Trust.
